Yes. If at any time you feel like you haven't received the service you signed up for, you will get your money back. We believe in working hard every month to earn your money, so if at any time you are dissatisfied, or we feel like we haven't served you as well as we could, we will always make it right.

What is your cancellation policy?

The WP Butler is a pay-as-you-go service. You are in full control of your subscription, and you can cancel at any time from the client area with the click of a button (no forced phone call or awkward sales pitch).

Where do you store the backups? How long are they kept?

Backups are stored securely on Amazon S3 for 30 days, after which they are deleted. If you wish to have access to them, this can be arranged.

How to provide admin access to your WordPress site securely

Accepted Answer

While diagnosing a problem, or working to fix it, it may become necessary for us to get access to your WordPress dashboard (this is the bit where you log into WordPress and create/manage content and settings). In order to do this safely and securely, please follow these steps:

Create a new user account

Please do not send login details for an existing user account (like your own). Doing so would mean sending your password by email, which isn't secure. Log into your dashboard and go to Users > Add New . Enter a username and an email address, leave the user notification box checked and set the role to Administrator, as shown below:

Then we will receive an email, providing us access to your site. The benefit of doing it this way is that you don't have to share existing account information and you can delete our account whenever you choose.

We do not because the guys over at WP Engine and Siteground do a far better job than we ever could. We strongly recommend using them instead.
